Certified Diamond (Round, Very Good cut, 0.300 carats, D color, VS1 clarity)

The Nokia N95 8Gb is the only phone in the market which has been certified by the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA). This means that it is a great step in bridging the already narrow gap between home electronics devices and handheld mobile phones. Now what a Phone the Nokia N95 is, it has every feature which even the most demanding of users would require from a handset.

It has been result of several shortcomings which nokia found out with its flagship N95 model. The newer upgrades are increasing the size of its screen to 2.8 inches which pixelates the entire interface as the resolution is meager 240x320 pixels. Another addition is internal 8GB memory which makes this multimedia device the true mammoth is now you will never ever feel the crunch for the space, however some users may not like it as the card reader is still the fastest means of transferring data to the mobiles which is not possible here.

Another change is the camera which now lacks the covering, as there were numerous complaints from customers which made camera active whenever they took phone out of their pockets. Also there is now a brand new black colour available for the device as people found silver not so appealing on the older device. The battery life which was the Achilles' heal of the device has now been replaced with a newer better backup battery.

However the phone still retains a lot of features from the old device like the dual slide design and functionality wise the interface is almost same with almost same soft wares and hardware like fm radio, GPS, wifi, Bluetooth , IrDA , full fledged media player with dedicated multimedia keys, a 3,5mm jack. The device is 3.5 HSDPA enabled so it opens up tremendous possibilities for business users. Email support with pop/imap is de-facto common.

The only thing possibly which I think is lacking in this device is that it will loose its uniqueness very soon as it is becoming far too common these days. Though it's a good device and worth a buy.
